VBS and visit with Reese and Nebo

The end of July, Luke participated in our church's VBS. They have 4 different camps which the children get to chose from: Soccer, Art, Outdoor Adventures and Ballet. Luke picked soccer and had a blast. It was fun watching him participate in the singing and playing soccer. The end of the week was the performance and awards. Reese and Nebo came for a quick visit and got to see Luke. We loved having them here to see some of our everyday life. We also managed to have some fun squeezed in there too. We went to the Aviation Museum. The next morning, Reese, Nebo and Luke went to Keeneland to watch the morning workouts. They got to see many horses and talk to several trainers and jockeys. I have wonderful pictures that Reese took but I am having trouble getting them off the disc. The weekend came to an end and we loaded Reese, Nebo and the boys into the car to head to Camp Sloan. Yes, the boys spent a week at Camp Sloan without us and loved it. Luke is still asking to go back and why don't I know any farmers here. Reese had many activities and play dates planned. They went to Square Books, the park, swimming, Mr. MacKenzie's Farm to ride horses and play in the castle, the Brown's farm to milk the cows, feed the chickens, pigs and goats, the movies, etc. They had a wonderful time and made tons of memories. Luke has really gotten big on going places without me. Thanks Reese and Nebo for a wonderful week at Camp Sloan.
A little "stealing" from his friend Deacon.
Nice kick!
Joseph flying the helicopter.

Checking out the planes with Nebo.

Luke flying the simulator. He wasn't too sure about it and asked to get out about 2 seconds after it started.
