Big Boy Room and More!

We slowly transitioned Luke to his new room this summer, which involved clearing out the guest room and moving Luke's things into the Big Boy Room. He started sleeping in a twin bed while we were on our vacation to the beach and Reese's house, so coming home to a big bed was an easy transition. After weeks of finding the right things and painting "choo choo" pictures, everything is finished. Here he is showing off his new room.

We had a play date and lunch with some friends at the library last week. Since my child Luke was running around the library laughing the entire time, I suggested we all go to the park the next week. We took all the kids to McDonald's for a "healthy" lunch.
September is the birthday month for us and our circle of friends. Both Luke and several of his friends have birthdays in September and we have enjoyed going to the parties and playing. I plan on throwing Luke a pirate party and Luke is looking forward to it. During all of these birthday parties, Luke has had difficulty understanding it is NOT his birthday yet. We went to Logan's cowboy party Friday night. Luke really wanted to dress up as a pirate. So half the cowboy costume was left in the car.
Teaching his friends bad tricks on the slide.
Playing in the little cabin with his friends.
Pin the tail on the donkey. Jeremy started work and enjoys being busy. Luke and I are adjusting to not having Jeremy home. Overall, I am feeling good and we are all excited about the arrival of baby #2.

Luke's room is so cute. Your paintings are amazing! How do you find time to do all these things? I'm impressed!
