Happy 4th!

Over the Fourth of July, we went to Smith Lake, Alabama with the Sloan family. Sarah and Jeffrey have a lake house and invited us all to vacation with them. It was full of fun, sun, boating, swimming and relaxing times. We left the house twice, once by boat to a restaurant for breakfast. The other time we drove to another restaurant, "Pleezn". Luke and Joseph loved playing and being the center of everyone attention. They also loved playing with Hayes. We thank Hayes now for teaching Joseph to army crawl around. Before the trip Joseph was very content just sitting and playing. Now he moves around going for anything in sight. It was a wonderful trip for us all to slow down and relax. Enjoy the pictures.

Once we crossed into Alabama, we stopped at the rest area outside of Huntsville. It had a huge rocket ship that Luke was so excited to see.

Luke watching Jeremy tubing and cheering him on. He kept telling Uncle Jeffrey to go faster.

Thinking about jumping in. Luke did so well with all his swimming skills he learned in swimming lessons. He wore a life swimsuit that really boosted his confidence in the water. He swam his little heart out.

Joseph loves his Uncle Brad.
And his Reese.

Joseph took to the water like a fish. Reese found a cute little baby pool that Joseph loved. He would play in that until he turned into a raisin.

Joseph wasn't sure about the life jacket. We did find one that fit him better and he enjoyed boating. Luke of course loved boating, driving the boat and cheering Jeremy on while he was tubing. Luke went tubing with ME. He did it once and when asked if he wanted to go again, he would reply "maybe tomorrow".

It is very hard to get two babies, one that crawls and a three year old to all look and smile for a picture.
